My online counselling services can help you… wherever you are
Online counselling and therapy has become increasingly popular in recent years because we now live in an instant world where time has become as precious a commodity as money – perhaps even more so.
The great benefit of online consultations is that, from anywhere in the world, you can get live help (often instantly)... and from the comfort of your own home. No need to spend time and money on travelling, no hassle with parking and no-one will see you walking into a therapist’s office.
You can book your online consultation right now, from just £60 ($75 apx), whichever treatment method you prefer. The booking system is always active and automatically shows available appointments in YOUR local time zone.
I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of clients
Over the years, I have seen at first hand the positive changes counselling has made in their lives and relationships during and after our work together.
This service was born in 1994 and for many years existed as a private local practice based on the south coast of England. While this face-to-face practice still operates, thanks to the online revolution and advances in technology we now help clients all over the world with various counselling services , cbt therapy, NLP, hypnosis and a range of appropriate therapeutic interventions tailored to their specific individual needs.
We help many clients in the USA, Europe, Australia, India and some in exotic locations such as the Philippines and Caribbean.
No matter where you live, as long as you speak English, we can help – by telephone, video conference (Skype, WhatsApp, Viber and Facebook Messenger), live chat and email.
Please be aware that some pages here may take you to our sister site Dolphin Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy Practice, but be assured you can book a consultation through either site as it uses the same combined booking system.
The range of emotional difficulties I have successfully treated over the years as an online therapist includes :-
Every type of Addiction
Lack of Motivation
Borderline Personality Disorder
And a host of psychosomatic disorders
Why Are People Choosing Online Therapy Over Traditional Counselling?
At times it can be difficult to open up to a counsellor in person about sensitive issues. For example If you have experienced childhood abuse or severe trauma, such as sexual assault or domestic violence you may well feel vulnerable or frightened to talk about and relay your experiences to someone. Online consultations provide greater anonymity making this much easier. I am used to working with clients who are scared due to trauma. I can help you work through your fear in the privacy of your own home, or indeed anywhere else where you feel comfortable.
Social anxiety is a very common issue and if someone is not comfortable talking to a counsellor in person, being able to text them, email or speak on the phone can be more comfortable for them. Whilst we would always encourage those with social phobia to begin to face their fears of talking to people, beginning by text, email or phone and then progressing to perhaps a webcam method such as WhatsApp or Skype provides a gentle and gradual journey towards this. Online therapy with a counsellor is a good way to ease someone into being more comfortable with communication.
The restraints of their schedule can be a problem for some people. Not everyone works the traditional 9 to 5 day or has the opportunity to visit a therapist’s office during normal business hours. Online therapy has a very flexible schedule, allowing someone to make an appointment based on his or her own availability.
Geographical location is another major factor, for those who live in rural or remote areas often there are no counsellors or therapist’s with the required expertise in the vicinity. The availability of therapy online means they can access the required help without needing to travel extended distances.
It is also less expensive. Counselling through the internet is less costly because the counsellor does not necessarily need to be in the office and can from wherever they are if they wish to. This reduced costs without compromising quality.
Online Couples Therapy
Online couples therapy is one of the many forms of treatment now available through digital means. There are many people in relationships where one member of the couple has to travel frequently for work or perhaps has trouble committing to a regular counselling time due to other commitments. With online therapy, treatment is far more flexible than it would be working in the office with a counsellor and obviously it has the potential to save a marriage or long-term relationship. If you're searching for a relationship counsellor, it is well worth considering working with a mental health professional through online consultations.
